About Me
I run Thompson Street, a research and advisory firm focused on technology, finance, and public policy. My writing examines how technology changes financial markets, competition, and risk—and what those changes mean for policymakers.Previously, I worked at Paradigm, a crypto-focused investment firm, and spent six years at the Federal Reserve Board working on payments, clearing, settlement, and digital assets, where I received the Fed’s highest service award. Earlier in my career, I worked under economists Josh Angrist and David Autor in the Economics Department at MIT.Outside work, I enjoy running, cycling, photography, and reading and writing.
